Young professionals from Heineken Vietnam join the 2017 Challenge

At Nudge we are very proud to announce that our collaboration with Heineken has expanded: for the 2017 Challenge we will join forces with Heineken Vietnam Brewery (Heineken Vietnam) for the first time! With ownership in four breweries, they employ around 1,600 locals and creates thousands of jobs for suppliers and partners in Vietnam. With brands such as Tiger and Bivina, they provide the best quality beer in Asia. After Heineken USA, Mexico and The Netherlands, we are excited to welcome two young talents from Vietnam and work with them during our 8-month programme to nudge the world for sustainable impact.

Heineken Vietnam is committed to protecting the environment. Their waste water from brewing is treated in a close-knit process before being discharged back into nature. Furthermore, they support local projects such as the funding of preschool constructions. During the 2011 floods in An Giang and Dong Thap, Heineken’s Management team provided aid to local households.

They believe that ‘The Heineken Vietnam Brewery Limited social responsibility cannot be limited to some internal activities, but must also reach further.’ With this motto Heineken Vietnam strives to create a positive impact. Therefore, we are very proud to welcome their talented future leaders in sustainability to the 2017 Challenge.
