Paid internship: Project and communications management for the Nudge Global Impact Challenge

Are you currently living in or around Amsterdam? Join social enterprise Nudge Academy in Amsterdam on 1 September 2022 for your internship and become part of the team!
Our team is looking for an intern for a period of 6 – 8 months to support us in realising the Nudge Global Impact Challenge 2022. This internship offers you the possibility to step into an international network of young professionals, highly motivated to work towards a sustainable world.
The Nudge Global Impact Challenge is a six-month online personal development programme for young professionals from all over the world that focuses on leadership, sustainability and impact creation.
What will you be doing?
Project management, social media, community building and communications are the main areas you will be operating in. Under our guidance you will assist the Project Manager with event management, community management, communications and social media.
Who are we looking for?
You are about to graduate or recently completed your studies in the field of project management, communications, media studies or business administration. Advanced knowledge of tools such as Canva, WordPress, Hootsuite and Mailchimp is a plus. You have an excellent knowledge of English (verbal and written). You would love to develop your skills further in a global business environment. You are motivated to work in a small team of professionals and have a keen interest in the field of leadership and/or sustainability.

Duration: 6 – 8 months for 4 days per week.
Whether you will be working in our Amsterdam office (Baden Powellweg 281, 1069LH) or remotely will be based on COVID restrictions. We will only be considering candidates who currently live in or around Amsterdam.
We offer an internship allowance (EUR 300,- gross), vegetarian lunches and snacks at the office and travel costs to the office.

The Nudge Global Impact Challenge is an eight-month online personal development programme for 90 of the brightest young people (23 – 33 yrs) from all over the world. During the Challenge the topics Leadership, Sustainability and Impact will be presented, discussed, taught, debated about, and turned upside down in a never before seen format. Previous participants describe it as a “life-changing event”.

What will you be doing?
Tasks and responsibilities:
– Community management and communications with our stakeholders
– Operations (administrative structures and processes)
– Sales support
– Social media (with support from other team members)
Under the guidance of the Challenge manager, you will be responsible for a flawless project administration, improvement of processes, co-supervise the social media channels, supervise the online communications platform and keep the website up to date (WordPress). You will organise PR materials and be involved in the search for speakers, participants, organisations and networks for young professionals. You will come up with ideas on how to spread the word about the Nudge Global Impact Challenge and support sales activities.
Who are we looking for?
You have graduated in the field of communications, marketing and/or project management and the use of social media knows no secrets for you. You have an excellent knowledge of English (verbal and written), speaking Dutch is a plus. You have 1 – 3 years experience in project and communications management. You are motivated to work in a small team of professionals and have an interest in the field of leadership and/or sustainability. You are a quick learner and eager to develop your skills further in a global business environment. AND you live in or near Amsterdam!

Knowledge of WordPress, MailChimp, Hubspot, video editing (iMovie) and Canva is a plus.
What do we offer?
We would like you to start ideally on 1 April 2021. Nudge will offer you a six months contract to begin with. You will work online and when possible in our office in Amsterdam for 36 hours per week. We will offer a competitive salary and reimburse your travel costs.
