Paid Internship: Project Management and Communications for the Nudge Global Impact Challenge 2020
Do you want to build on your knowledge of project management, social media, communications and marketing in an international environment? Are you currently living in the Netherlands? Join social enterprise Nudge in Amsterdam in February 2020 for your internship and become part of the Nudge Global Impact Challenge team.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a ‘hands-on’ environment and be part of a small team of motivated and enthusiastic professionals. We’re looking for an intern for a period of 6 – 8 months to support us in creating and realising the Nudge Global Impact Challenge 2020.
The Nudge Global Impact Challenge is a development programme for 90 of world’s brightest young people (23 – 33 yrs) from all over the world. This event will be held in October 2020 in the Netherlands. During the course of three days the topics ‘Leadership’, ‘Sustainability’ and ‘Impact’ will be presented, discussed, taught, debated about, and turned upside down in a never before seen format. Previous participants describe it as a life changing event. This internship offers you the possibility to work on this project and step into an international network of young professionals, highly motivated to work towards a sustainable world.
What will you be doing?
Communications, marketing and administration are the main areas you will be operating in. Under our guidance you will keep our social media channels and our website up to date. You will also be working on organising PR material and you will be involved in the search for speakers, candidates, organisations and networks for young professionals. At the same time you will come up with possibilities to spread the word about the Nudge Global Impact Challenge. Important for all projects, we would like you to carry out general administrative and project management tasks, such as registration of participants, carrying out mailings and following up on queries, mainly by e-mail.
Next to the Nudge Global Impact Challenge project, you will work on the Nudge Sustainability Hub, a website that publishes articles about sustainability projects written by reporters from all over the world. You will connect with the reporters, plan and publish their articles and promote them on our social media.
Who are we looking for?
You are about to graduate in the field of communications, marketing, sustainability and/or project management. The use of social media knows no secrets for you and you would love to develop your skills further in a global business environment. Knowledge of MailChimp, WordPress, Adobe Creative Cloud are a plus. You have an excellent knowledge of English (verbal and written), speaking Dutch would be an extra. You are eager to learn and develop your skills. You are motivated to work in a small team of professionals and have a keen interest in the field of leadership and/or sustainability. Most importantly, you are a self starter, you’re pro-active, organised, accurate, hands-on, a team player and living in the Netherlands. Sounds familiar? What else is useful to know?
We would like you to start in February 2020. The internship will be for a period of 6 – 8 months. You will work in our office in Amsterdam (Baden Powellweg 281) 4 days per week. We can offer an internship allowance and will also reimburse your travel costs.
