From a renovated gas station in Burlington, Vermont, to far-off places, the journey of Ben & Jerry’s that began in 1978 with 2 guys and the ice cream business they built is as legendary as their ice cream is euphoric. Like Nudge, Ben & Jerry’s is a B-Corp and believes business has a responsibility to give back to the community. They strive to make the best possible ice cream in the nicest way possible.

Ben & Jerry’s operates on a three-part mission that aims to create linked prosperity for everyone that’s connected to their business: suppliers, employees, farmers, franchisees, customers, and neighbors alike. In other words “Success tastes sweeter if everyone benefits”

The company is an untiring advocate for climate justice and devotes a lot of time to raising awareness to climate change among everyone connected to their delicious ice-creams. Besides, Ben & Jerry’s made a significant commitment to source Fair Trade ingredients and to support the global Fair Trade movement. They are in the process of converting their ingredients to Fair Trade globally where they feel they can have the greatest impact on improving the lives of farmers, strengthening their communities and protecting the environment.
