Domenico Dentoni brings systemic change to the Nudge Global Impact Challenge

Domenico Dentoni is the Associate Professor in Strategic Change Management and Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies at Wageningen University & Research, and head of the Global Center for Food Systems Innovation. Domenico’s academic program builds coherence across multiple partnerships to address global issues of food security, poverty and climate change. His vision, the basis of his work, is that with a team of global researchers and non-academic partners we can support and accelerate sustainable transformations of agricultural and food systems.

Domenico believes that his team participates in two paths of change. They share knowledge with key stakeholders in startups, government, academics, and society through research, education and project management can kickstart a cycle of change within these different stakeholders. Within the academic industry, his team works to promote problem-oriented, interdisciplinary, transparent, fair and socially active educational and research practices.

Domenico’s own research stems from his team’s field experience in designing, organising, and evaluating partnerships that address wicked sustainability problems in the agri-food sector. Up to today, Domenico has published articles, working papers, and continues to conduct his research through diverse projects.

Such determination to induce a cycle of change within various stakeholders and belief in a sustainable future society has brought Domenico Dentoni to participate in the Nudge Global Impact Challenge. Hence, the Wageningen University is global knowledge partner of the Challenge. This year it will be the second time Domenico will lead the Systemic Change session during the three day learning experience of the Nudge Global Impact Challenge.
